Following the other Somei Yoshino, the ones of Hirosaki Parks Sakura Tunnel are now in full bloom, too!
The carpet of cherry blossoms on the outer moat is expected for April 27th – April 30th.

Most of the cherry blossoms have bloomed already, today the Yaebeni Shidare cherry blossoms around Honmaru of Hirosaki Castle started blooming too. Cherry Blossoms around the outer moat will be in full bloom tomorrow.

The Somei Yoshino inside Hirosaki Park have opened!

Hirosaki City has announced that the oldest Somei Yoshino (predicted to be 137 years old) and the Somei Yoshino of the Sakura Tunnel have opened!
Many other cherry blossoms are gradually blooming as well!

Today, the first cherry blossoms inside Hirosaki Park and around the outer moat have opened. It is 4 days earlier than average, and 1 day earlier than last year.
